New Zealand will issue working-holiday visas to Chinese

New Zealand Immigration Bureau announced that it would issue 2013-2014 working – holiday visas in September to 1000 Chinese youngsters to go to New Zealand for working and holiday.

To qualify for this visa, candidates need to fulfil  a set of requirements, which among others include

  • 18-30 years old
  • Chinese citizen
  • minimum deposit
  • at least a high school certification

Successfully selected candidates will then receive a one-year- valid visa for working and holiday in New Zealand.

Li Hu, Marketing Manager of New Zealand Tourism Bureau Greater China office, specified that technically speaking, a working holiday visa holder may engage in any work in New Zealand, but in accordance with the regulations, he or she cannot work for each employer more than three months.
